Datadog Synthetic Monitoring

By Datadog. Category: Monitoring with AI checks. Homepage

Datadog's documentation describes Synthetic Monitoring as code-free API, browser and mobile app tests that monitor applications from Datadog-managed or private locations. Browser tests are recorded with a Chrome extension. Self-healing recomputes broken locators with updated values during runs. Bits Testing, in Preview, is an AI agent that explores an application from a starting URL and generates tests from a plain-language request. Goal-Based Testing, also in Preview, runs prompted, agentic tests. Tests are Datadog Synthetic test definitions, exportable as Terraform configuration. The docs cover GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
