Axe MCP Server

By Deque Systems. Category: Accessibility testing with AI. Homepage

Deque's documentation describes the Axe MCP Server as a server that brings axe accessibility testing into AI coding agents. It provides two tools: analyze, which scans pages in a real browser with the Axe DevTools engine, and remediate, which returns AI-generated remediation guidance and consumes AI credits. The server runs locally in Docker or as a Node.js process and authenticates against the Deque Axe Account Portal, which can be SaaS, private cloud or on-premises. Client setup is documented for VS Code with Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code and Claude Desktop. It requires a paid Axe DevTools for Web subscription.
