SmartBear's documentation describes BearQ as an agentic QA product in which AI agents explore and test web applications. An Explorer agent navigates the app from its URL to build an application model, and QA Lead and Tester agents generate and run tests. Users can also describe tests in natural language. Tests run in SmartBear's cloud, and the docs describe self-healing by the Tester agent. Recent release notes add API endpoint testing. A public REST API supports CI/CD scripts. BearQ is included in the SmartBear MCP Server and connects to Jira. Usage is metered in Agent Compute Units.
